And I'm the only person I know that is physically capable of pulling this off for these past years.

I probably have the least healthiest sleep schedule of all time and I don't even feel anything physically bad from it. But for example, today all I need is a short, hour-long power nap in the next 4 hours and I'm ready to go to work from 4pm 'til 11pm.

I know it's not normal, 'cause even the most extreme night owls end up crashing at 6 or 7. But this habit that I've been rolling with for a really, really long time (since 2020) freaks people out when I talk about it.

I'm not looking for a solution, I know all I have to do is stop drinking coffee so late and turn my TV off. Then, the other half of the week I can miraculously fall asleep at 1am and wake up normally. It might be all the coffee I drink at 2am, but this happens literally all the time.

It's now 10am the next day, I haven't went back to sleep since I woke up from that nap. Then I took a two-hour nap around 1pm, that's pretty normal too. Please someone help me fix this because my procrastination, just doing nothing for hours without being able to just stop and go to sleep and f*cked up sleep schedule is very likely my biggest road block in my life.Yesterday morning I woke up at like 7, pretty normal. My goal would realistically be to get myself to go to sleep at around 2am every night (date I say 1am). Today I will just get my 8 hours and wake up late (which affects breakfast which is very important to me) and I hope someone here could help me.

Now it's summer break so my normal time to go to bed is around 4am for no reason because I could go to sleep at 12 if I was a normal human being. Waking up feeling well-rested is about more than getting a full eight hours of sleep. When I have school it's the same I say I want to go to sleep at a certain hour so I could get a good amount of sleep and I certainly CAN but then I just dont do anything and then it's late so I either don't sleep a lot before school or skip first periods (which affect my grades). It's now 5:17 am and I have don't basically nothing but procrastinate and br frustrated with myself for not going to sleep but then a second after continue to do literally nothing. It also takes me forever to get sleepy and fall asleep early. I set 3 different whole alarm clocks and nothing. I feel like such a failure because I cannot do literally the simplest thing in the entire world which is wake up. None of my friends seem to have this problem and can just go to sleep whenever they feel like going to sleep. First of all its like impossible for me to wake up. Luckily, practicing good sleep hygiene can help. I procrastinate for a few hours every night, it's 12am and I could def just get ready for bed and go to sleep, but instead maybe I watch YouTube for a few hours, just do the stupidest and most pointless stuff ever in my computer or phone for a few hours then suddenly it's 3 am and I get so frustrated with myself because I've done nothing for 4 hours. There are many things that can mess with your sleep schedule, preventing you from getting a good nights sleep. But I have a terrible problem of just doing everything unproductive ever instead of going to sleep. I go to the gym about 4 times per week and do a lot of other activities dialy usually. I don't have trouble falling asleep, and I think my sleep quality is okay.
